No. Payment does not influence the outcome of TVG's evaluation. Selection and membership is awarded only if the vendor meets the applicable criteria for the selected recognition level.  If an applicant is not selected, however, the applicant will receive a full refund of their application fee as well as an additional $50.00 payment (sent as a digital Visa gift card) to compensate the applicant for their time.  So, applying for membership is entirely risk free! 

YES!  The last thing we want to do is waste any vendors' valuable time, so if an application is rejected, the applicant will receive a FULL refund of the application fee, as well as a $50 payment (sent digitally as a Visa gift card) at the time the application is rejected. 

Vendors are submitted for consideration by their peers and, on some occasions, TVG will accept submissions from vendors themselves through our website.  They are then evaluated using a multi-factor methodology that includes identity verification, business presence, reputation indicators, public complaint history, and professional transparency signals.  

Yes.  While vendors are most often submitted for consideration by their peers, TVG will accept applications and submissions from any qualifying vendor may apply for review, provided they submit accurate information and agree to the evaluation standards.  Not all applicants are approved.

No.  The Trusted Vendor Guild operates independently and does not maintain ownership interests, partnerships, or control relationships with recognized vendors.

Vendors are most often submitted for consideration by their peers, but if a vendor wishes to apply for themselves, they may do so by selecting the recognition package they with to apply for on the Recognition Levels page and completing the required submission process.
